Freedome does not prevent connections while connecting to server (Win8.1)

Hello,

 

I noticed today that Freedome does not prevent connections while it is connecting to server e.g. when starting after hibernate or restart. As my pc automatically connects to wlan I guess it is possible my IP can be leak because of this? I think it was doing it before, but not sure?

 

So, how can I prevent my PC from connecting to internet before VPN connection is established?

    Currently, it is not possible to block the network connectivity before Freedome is on. However, I have highlighted on your post and feedback to our team.

    Oh I think I described this little wrong. Here is my scenario:

     

    - Freedome successfully on and working good, browser open

    - I close laptop lid, windows hibernates

    - I come back and open lid, log in, computer automatically connects to wlan - Freedome shows it is connecting

    - Browser loads open tabs again, revealing my real ip

     

    Can this be prevented somehow?

    Hi jacktheblack,

     

    In this scenario, it is not possible to block the network connectivity before Freedome turns on. The Freedome team has got requests regarding this feature and are considering it.
