Safe .. new upgrade completely crashed my laptop

Hi can anyone help as i cannot get through to live chat .... i have started the new upgrade ( i am a virgin customer ) it has completely crashed my new laptop windows 8.1 for 5 hours now it has been trying to repair my laptop using diagnostic tools etc repairing disc errors / restarting HELP PLEASE

Hi, this sounds like a possible conflict with another anti virus product. Was Virgin Media Security fully removed before installing F-Secure?

Can you actually get into the machine to do anything at the moment? -
Sorry, I don't really know what else to suggest. If you could get into safe mode, you could possibly remove F-Secure using the uninstallation tool, but I don't want to advise anything which might make things worse. I guess you're going to have to turn it off at some point, though. If you can find a way to use it, here's the uninstallation tool:
