a question about Freedome

Hi,

I'm very interested in this vpn app,  since I'm afraid connecting my devices on public or untrusted wi-fis, but I don't know how to create a vpn by myself. There is something I would like to ask: once installed, will Freedome encrypt just the data regarding my browser, or will it protect the entire connection between my device and the wi-fi?

I mean, if I connect to a public wi-fi with this application running,  will someone however be able to read my token or IP address?

    Hello Samsa,

     

    Freedome creates a secure, encrypted connection from you and your device to the F-Secure Cloud. It makes your connection invisible in the Wi-Fi network and your data unreadable. So even if someone tries to scan what's up, they can't tap into what's yours.
