Blocking websites without notification

in F-Secure Internet Security

I have F-Secure 2012 Internet Security, and it is blocking websites without telling me in any way. There's no replacement web page or popup message, it just blocks the connection and the browser is telling me the connection was reset.

 

Using Internet Explorer 8, I get a message in form of a webpage, but using the latest Chrome release, I get nothing but a regular connection error.

 

How do I get connections blocked in Chrome to inform me that they are blocked?

    Hi,

    you can view logfile.log for details on the block.

    In IE there is a toolbar/plugin that intercepts the information and displays the popup. This is (curently) not possible with Chrome (or Safari). Firebird works too!
