Difference between F-Secure Anti Virus and Client Security

Hi team,

I have a question for which I'm unable to find an answer.

I would like to know the difference between Client Security (For Business) and AntiVIrus/Internet Security (For Home).

I found this webpage for the latter:http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/compare-products but am unable to find any significant difference between Client Security and Anti Virus.

Would anyone know the difference?

Thank you for your time in advanced.

Jeremy

P.s To F-Secure, the chat feature appears to be buggy, I was connecting and waiting for a technician when it suddenly stated, The Technician has cancelled the request, several times.

The difference between our products for home users is I think clear on the page you mentioned.

Mainly internet browsing protection features are missing from the Anti-virus.

The main difference between Client security and Anti-virus/Internet Security is also as you noted it, that the target audience is different. If you are a consumer you should use one of our products for home user, from these pages.

The other products (including Client security) are meant for businesses and will not fit your needs.

  • Dear Ben

I thank you for your quick reply.

In terms of technical capabilities, are there then any differences between Client Security and Internet Security or is the difference just in licensing?

    Thank you for your reply

The components in both are similar but might be in different versions.

Also some features can only be found in IS(Internet Security) and some other are only in CS(Client Security). It depends also on the versions.

The feature sets are meant to fit the usage made by home users or corporate customer. For example content bloker is not implemented in our corporate products.

  • Dear Ben

    Thank you for your advise.

In this case, would you happen to have any form of documentation specifying the components in the respective products?

I ask because I would like to know in depth the relevant components .

But in any case I still thank you for your time and reply
