Take note of other phone spyware... from the NSA.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WARRIOR_PRIDE

    WARRIOR PRIDE

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

WARRIOR PRIDE is the GCHQ and NSA code name for a pair of spyware kits that can be installed on the iPhone and Android-based smartphones. Information about these kits was published by the press on 27 January 2014 from the documents leaked by Edward Snowden.[1]

The iPhone kit was developed first; its code was ported from an undisclosed code base. The Android port was completed later (Q3 2010) and it was done in collaboration with Communications Security Establishment Canada. Although using different code, the modules of the kit have the same names on both platforms (all seemingly derived from The Smurfs cartoons), and correspond to their functionality as follows:[1]

As file retrieval capabilities, the iPhone kit claims to get "any content from the phone, e.g. SMS, MMS, e-mails, web history, call records, videos, photos, address book, notes, calendar (if its [sic] on the phone we can get it)." The Android slide differs slightly in that the last sentence is a qualified "we think we can get it".[1]

This type of software was apparently used, among other things, to discredit Muslim targets by exposing their "online promiscuity" (usage of pornography).[2]

The cost for the whole NSA program targeting smartphones was cited at one billion dollars.[2] The program includes additional interception capabilities that can be performed just by intercepting network traffic, including collecting information leaked by many apps, metadata (Exif) collection from smartphone photo uploads to social media sites, interception of Google Maps requests to geolocate the user etc

DROPOUTJEEP: "A software implant for the Apple iPhone that utilizes modular mission applications to provide specific SIGINT functionality. This functionality includes the ability to remotely push/pull files from the device. SMS retrieval, contact list retrieval, voicemail, geolocation, hot mic, camera capture, cell tower location, etc. Command, control and data exfiltration can occur over SMS messaging or a GPRS data connection. All communications with the implant will be covert and encrypted.

Hack attack: Apps can spy on other apps

There's a sneaky new security threat to smartphones: apps that spy on the data from other apps. Security researchers found that a malicious app can disguise itself as something harmless, like a wallpaper app, but run in the background to record what the user is doing in other apps. Watch this episode of CNET Update to learn how researchers were able to see the social security number typed into the H&R Block app, and steal the check images taken by the Chase banking app.

These malicious apps don't require special permissions to tap into the device's shared memory, so it can be hard to detect this scam:

Please go to this site to check for eligibility:-

    https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/

Apple has determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 5 devices may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently. The affected iPhone 5 devices were sold between September 2012 and January 2013 and fall within a limited serial number range.

If your iPhone 5 is experiencing these symptoms and meets the eligibility requirements noted below, Apple will replace your iPhone 5 battery, free of charge.
    Eligibility

If your iPhone is in working order and exhibits the symptoms noted above, use the serial number checker below to see if it is eligible for this program.
Finding your iPhone serial number is easy. See how.
    Replacement process

As of August 22, 2014, the replacement process will be available in the U.S. and China. In other countries, it will be available as of August 29, 2014.

Choose one of the service options below to have your battery replaced. Your iPhone will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program and in working order.

Apple Authorized Service Provider - Find one here.
Apple Retail Store - Make an appointment here.
Apple Technical Support - Contact us.

To prepare your iPhone 5 for the battery replacement process, please follow the steps below:

Back up your data to iTunes or iCloud
        Turn off Find my iPhone
Erase data and settings in Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings

Note: If your iPhone 5 has any damage such as a cracked screen which impairs the replacement of the battery, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the battery replacement. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the repair.
    Additional Information

Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country of purchase.

If you believe your iPhone 5 was affected by this issue, and you paid to replace your battery, you can contact Apple about a refund.

This worldwide Apple program doesn't extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 5. The program covers affected iPhone 5 batteries for two years after the first retail sale of the unit or until March 1, 2015, whichever provides longer coverage.

iPhone shuts itself down even with sufficient charge

May 15, 2014 by Serhat Kurt 1 Comment

Several users have reported an issue in which iPhone powers off as if it has run out of battery during normal use (texting, browsing the web etc) or while not in use even though the phone is showing more than 5% battery life. If you are having this problem, here is how you can troubleshoot:

1.Although there may be many causes for this problem, we will start with the easy but highly likely one. It may be that your phone’s battery gauge needs to be calibrated. Apple recommends calibrating all your iOS device’s (iPhone, iPad and iPod touch) batteries once a month. If your iPhone powers off while the battery charge indicator is above 1%, do this:

    • Connect your device to a power outlet for five minutes. Your phone will restart automatically when there is enough charge.
    • Then disconnect your device and do a hard reset of your phone by pressing the home button and the on/off (sleep/wake) buttons together until you see the Apple logo. Then use your phone to drain your battery until it shuts down again. Repeat this process until your iPhone starts shutting itself down at 1 percent battery life. It usually takes one or two tries. Then the next time when your iPhone shuts down due to insufficient charge, plug your device into a power outlet and charge continuously for four hours without using the phone. If this solves your problem, from now on, once a month, completely run down your device then charge the battery to 100%.

2.If the above solution does not fix your problem, you may have a software issue. To check this:

    3. If one of the solutions above does not fix your battery problem, it may be that your device’s battery is faulty and needs to be replaced.  If your new iPhone is under one year old, your warranty will cover this replacement. If your device is out of warranty, you may have it replaced by Apple for $79.

  • Firstly, you should tell us what happened to your iPhone. And if your iPhone isn't jailbroken, it is impossible to install the spy app on it. As far as I know, some spy app iKeymonitor only can be installed on jailbroken iPhone, and can be removed with the passwords required, so you should make sure what happened to your iPhone, we can know more to identify.

    EDIT:REMOVED POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS LINK

You could try scanning your device with a program called 'Certo iPhone'. It detects any spy apps installed on the phone. We use it when clients come to us with this sort of problem and it always works well.
