Outlook 2010 stops to sync when logging in to online bank and government sites.

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. English is not my native language, hope I'll express myself clarely 
When logging in to extra-security pages, such as online banks and government pages, Outlook pops up a error message that it's unable to sync to Microsoft exchange (MAPI).
It seems to be related to the F-secure package. We tried to reinstall F-secure, and start Outlook in safe mode and resetting the Windows Firewall without progress. Also tried two different ports for syncing mail. Restarting Outlook helps.
Is there any F-secure security feature that is enabled when logging in to extra-security pages that might explain this?

I don't know if this applies to Outlook specifically, but when Banking Protection in F-Secure is activated, it isolates the connection to the bank or what ever secure online site you're using, therefore Outlook may find its connection blocked, which is probably what is producing the error message.
