called:
ZeroAccess / rootkit.sirefef / Max++
annoying!
after the start of "rescue cd" i have a black screen and nothing happens.
my av tells me now invaders in minutes.
...sorry for my english.
have real problems to eliminate the virus.
Hi,
not sure why F-Secure is not catching the root kit however here is a tool you can use to investigate and maybe remove it.
GMER is an application that detects and removes rootkits
You can give it a go
Hi ks,
Download F-Secure Rescue CD.
How to...
a.) Download and burn a F-Secure Rescue CD.
b.) Boot and scan with F-Secure Rescue CD.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Jayson
i use the securitypack of unitymedia based on f-secure.
apparently I pay every month for nothing... I am disappointed.
I really need to format the hard drive?
I pressed the wrong button ... you can modify it? It is not yet complete.
none answered?..
Why?
anyway, try to just load from safe mode, or try to repair your windows if no other way was found
The F-Secure Rescue CD failed to boot? Please try with the solution in this KB article.
Thanks.
I think I have the virus under control. I scanned with various programs and further narrowed.
in effect, was a setting in the "f-secure" program crucial to the positioning of the virus.
