Thanks for the message. There was a bit of delay indeed.
The update should be out now both for manual downloads on the My F-Secure portal and on the update channel for existing installations. Confirmed it from the update channel now.
Existing installations check product updates at a random time between 1 and 9 hours. So it should take up to 9 hours for the update to be applied automatically.

Release 26.10 beta 1 (build 70023)
We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.
Highlight of this release:
New feature - Scam Scanner:
- Scam Scanner gives a second opinion on suspicious content such as messages, ads, deals and job postings. Upload a screenshot and the content is analyzed with AI for common scam patterns and malicious links.
- Each result explains why something looks like a scam and what to do next.
- Results can be rated as useful or not, with an option to tell why a result was not useful.
- Explanations are currently available in English only.
- Screenshots are analyzed securely and deleted after 30 days.
Password Vault:
- The password vault can now be opened after the subscription has expired.
- The delete confirmation in the password vault is now clearly marked as destructive, also in dark mode.
Subscription:
- "Check for updates" now stays available when the subscription has expired.
- Tasks unrelated to an expired subscription are no longer shown, and the task list now shows an icon and title for each task.
Protection:
- Fixed an issue where a temporary error during a website reputation check could keep the website rated as unknown after the connection recovered.
- After a Mac has been off for a long time, the warning about outdated virus definitions is now delayed to give the product a chance to update them first.
Settings:
- Updated the Family Protection description in Settings to better explain what content filtering does.
- Fixed the remove button in Scan exclusions being too small on macOS 27.
Other:
- Updated localizations.

Release 26.10 beta 2 (build 70178)
We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.
Highlight of this release:
VPN:
- Leftovers from the previous VPN feature implementation are now cleaned up after upgrading. Not affecting FS Protection users as the legacy feature is not use anymore. Mainly applies to product upgrade in production environment from older product versions.
Activation:
- Activation codes meant for a different app are now rejected with a clear message.
Settings:
- The Settings window now reopens on the last selected tab.
- Redesigned the Website exceptions editor: entries are shown as a selectable list, website addresses are checked as they are typed, and the editor closes automatically after saving.
Fixes:
- Fixed a case where a manual scan could silently skip some files.
- Fixed a case where a failed scan engine update could leave the product without a working scan engine until the next database update.
- Improved the reliability of automatic product updates, including when VPN is on.
- Fixed transparent table headers in the DeepGuard configuration window.
- The "Share protection with others" button text now wraps instead of being cut off when the window is resized.
- Fixed the alignment of the device menu button in People & Devices.
- Fixed the layout of narrow images in the Scam Scanner full image view, and added spacing at the bottom of the main window when it scrolls.
Support:
- Support Tool now includes the protection history to help with troubleshooting.

- Fixed an issue where a trusted network carried over from an earlier product version had no effect while the VPN was connected.

- Updated localizations.
