Hydra VPN protocol stopped working

Hello,

Are there still trouble with Hydra (or it was temporarily)? And where have you seen mentions of other recent problems (just to understand if all of them are about something related)?

During 'trouble' timeframe - did you try different spots with Hydra? Or one spot with Hydra and Wireguard?

In the "Privacy VPN" forum, there are several people who have similar problems. Some have made it work, but not all.

Nevertheless, it would still be a good idea to get to the bottom of the causes. I think one option would be to contact their official F-Secure technical support so that you can provide the logs. https://www.f-secure.com/en/support - a phone call or web-chat options in the middle of the page and / or chat widget (also, this is a 'generic' website and web-chat is English-based, but you can switch to your locale and use its localized version if available).

However, since we are in Community - if you have the opportunity, we could try to look at and discuss additional aspects of the problem as between users.

The problem persists no matter which country I change to

First of all, could you describe the problem in more detail? (for instance, a recent topic mentioned a situation where the connection starts, maybe working a bit but then drops.) As I understand it, you are experiencing a continuous "connecting" process without the connection actually being established. Or did I misinterpret the screenshot?

With my system (where, let's say, Hydra might work) - I do able to reproduce such state when system's Network Adapters is not accessible (ncpa.cpl), the place in Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections; I am not sure what lies behind this, or exactly what caused what. As long as ncpa.cpl cannot be opened, I won't be able to connect, and Hydra will remain stuck in a continuous spinning state, though this doesn't happen with other protocols at this time (they goes 'offline' / 'no network' state). Thus, it doesn't look like your situation.

Since you do not able to use Hydra with any country; Still do able to use Wireguard.

Did you try OpenVPN and OpenVPN(TCP) protocols to see if they are okay?

Strange point, but did you try to restart / reboot your system? And what is your system? Is it Windows 11?

Did you try to use 'different' networks? From your ISP, from your mobile data via Wi-Fi hotspot; and if the device is laptop - another place with another internet service provider? Just to figure it out if ISP somehow preventing Hydra protocol usage due any reasoning.

Do you have any other devices within your network - all of them are affected?
