Release 26.2 beta 1 (build 67940)

Dear team,
After updating to version 26.2, it is no longer possible to disable DeepGuard through the F-Secure settings panel. It always shows as “Enabled,” and the toggle does not respond to mouse clicks. In the background fscxfenced also continues running.
For users who need to temporarily disable DeepGuard, one workaround is to use the
launchctlcommand. -
Thank you for the report. It will be addressed in the upcoming release.
I can share a few additional observations based on analysis on our side.
DeepGuard feature actually gets disabled but product settings UI fails to reflect that. The launchd job is meant to be still running even after disabling of the feature in the UI. The mode is switched to passive. This is how it works by design.
Generally I would advise against manually altering state of product launchd jobs as this is an unexpected involvement in the product state management. It introduces untested configurations of product which could cause unexpected results.

Highlight of this release:
- Fixed unlocalized text on the "ID Monitoring" welcome screen (name of the feature was used in English only)
- Improved view layout in ID Monitoring subview. Fixed scaling factor of the progress bar shown when archiving/restoring an item.
- Improved filtering of smart tasks based on the currently open view. Fixed cases where feature smart tasks were shown on views on mismatching type.
- Fixed settings UI state management for DeepGuard feature. UI should reflect the real state of the feature when disabling through settings UI.
- Thanks @66f2e490 for the report!
