Firefox Android Browsing Protection
I wonder how it is possible that F-Secure for Android does not have browsing protection for Firefox, like all other antiviruses for Android from the competition: Eset, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Norton, Sophos (Sophos is free by the way), and many others. Firefox has over 100.000.000 downloads in the Android Play Store, and Chrome is the worst browser for Android because it does not allow ad blocking add-ons. I am sure that a lot of F-Secure users have the same opinion as me. Is it so hard to keep up with competition in 2025? Time has changed. Most internet browsing is no longer done on home computers but on mobile devices, with Android at the forefront. But you only support the worst Android browser, Chrome, which has more adds than other content. When exactly will you also protect Firefox?

Hello,
I think their (current) idea is to use the SAFE Browser that comes with the solution as the recommended way. Which I found not really quite 'useful' at the time of me trying Android solutions.
Recently, they also started offering Chrome Protection as an alternative to the built-in Safe Browser. Which, I think, is also connected to the fact that the OS itself allows such extra functionality for third-party apps to provide (and since, most likely, Chrome is more often integrated).
And it is possible that the current design of the technology (feature, functionality) is not quite suitable for compatibility with other applications (for example, Firefox). For good or not so good reasons.
But as such it is quite a legit feature request. You can also try to vote this one: Are there any plans to implement an extension for firefox on android?
So, more visibility for (at least) two of related requests.
Thanks!
