    Release 25.1 beta 1 (build 64255)

    We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

    Highlight of this release:

    • Performance improvements for Device Protection & DeepGuard features
    • Improved VPN feature UI stability
    • Translation updates

    If you experience any issues, please report them in this forum. Please run "Support Tool" when the issue happens and be prepared to provide the resulting file if we requested. For issues related to Browsing protection and Parental control, remember to include any URLs that reproduce the problem in your bug report. You may also submit false positives and uncategorized web pages directly to F-Secure Labs using  https://www.f-secure.com/en/support/submit-a-sample .

    We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

    Highlight of this release:

    • Adjusted product VPN telemetry to prevent duplicate events from being sent
    • Improved VPN feature support for product silent/automatic upgrade functionality
      • product shows a smart task that asks for user confirmation to proceed with the product upgrade when VPN connection is active
    • Improved detection of feature set change for Scam Protection feature
      • browser extensions are notified about feature set changes with lower delays
    • Implement VPN configuration profile cleanup during product uninstall

    • Improved VPN status management in the FS Protection menubar app dropdown menu
    • Improved VPN subview in main UI and product settings to show protocols in static order
    • Improved handling of VPN shutdown during product uninstallation
    • Improved Safari extension message handling setup to allow license/settings update to finish properly

    We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

    Highlight of this release:

    • VPN: Improved secondary user account support (allow secondary/child user to use VPN)
    • VPN: Improved performance by suppressing debug logging when debug logging profile is not installed
    • Device Protection: Improved flow for engine definition updates
    • DeepGuard: More graceful handling of case when EndpointSecurity timeout is reached before decision is ready (allow verdict instead of deny)

    We are pleased to announce the availability of a new release of FS Protection for macOS. This update is available for download from My FS Protection and delivery to existing installations will be started soon.

    Highlight of this release:

    • VPN: Tracking Protection feature is currently unavailable. Hiding it in product settings until support is properly implemented on the VPN gateway side.
    • VPN: make "Killswitch" feature toggle in product settings interactive instead of having forced "enabled" state.
    • VPN: update "Killswitch" feature description in product settings to better match its behavior.
