    Hello @b0bbyX

Welcome to the F-Secure Community. Thank you for your question.

We have checked our system, and your subscription has been successfully renewed, with an expiry date in November 2025.

We recommend logging out and logging back into the app to ensure the changes take effect. For guidance, you may refer to this article: Why is my F-Secure program expiring on my Windows PC, even though I just renewed?

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thank you and have a lovely day.

I have a similar issue. I get a message telling me that the anti-virus base is outdated and need an update. However, the update failed every time.

I think your experience is different. The original topic's concern is like the user received a renewal prompt - did the renewal - but still getting a renewal prompt. For example, because 'account' in use is not pinned to 'renewed' account or whatever else reason.

But your description sounds as if you are still using some 'old' F-Secure solution or doing it on a (currently) unsupported platform. For example, like Windows 7. Relatively common trouble recently. For example, if a certain solution or its certain build is configured to use old servers (which may now be offline) - "update failed every time" is the expected result. Likely, before this - update checks were not failed but still with no any updating.

Just as an example: F secure updates are unsuccessful (topic)

However, if you are using up-to-date F-Secure solution, and OS is still supported - then better to understand why there is a trouble with receiving updates (after a while of this state - it is expected to receive notice from F-Secure about 'old' databases).

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thank you @JOnes

I have checked our system, and the subscription is active and intact. It is set to expire in 2028, so there are no issues with the account.

As @Ukko mentioned, the issue could be related to @jantvedt using an outdated operating system. I recommend checking whether the device meets the app’s compatibility requirements. You can find the system requirements at this link: System requirements

Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
