F secure updates are unsuccessful

Hello,
I'm also only an F-Secure user.
Your situations are likely different.
F-Secure Client Security Premium Version 15.11
…
I run Windows 7
But I think both things are no longer (officially and properly) supported.
F-Secure Client Security (Premium Version 15.11) is a business solution. And business / corporate solutions are now known as WithSecure (a bit of information). Their community is available there: https://community.withsecure.com
FSCS 15.11 is listed (https://www.withsecure.com/en/support/product-lifecycle-announcements) as supported, but its EOL is written as 30 September 2024. Maybe only security hotfixes are still applied, but not anything else.
the latest FSCS build was 15.30, then its name changed to WithSecure Client Security (16.00) - which is the likely the most actual version of this solution.
Windows 7 support as a platform for home F-Secure solutions (at least) is ended on August 14, 2023
Since you both mentioned a specific day, there have been some comments in the community that some old servers were recently taken down (or simply stopped being used), which could also be the reason. However, if this was the reason, it was only likely reflected in the fact that attempts to check for updates began to be shown with an error status (but not the fact that previously some updates were received; because a solution that was no longer supported likely was without some of them or any - example of discussion).
Thanks!

Hi Ukko,
Thank for taking the time to respond and the level of detail provided.
Your answer re the name change to WithSecure led me to pursue a fresh install from my Organisation and noted that it was now a download of WithSecure.
I have therefore carried out a new install of WithSecure Client Security Premium Version 16.01 and my laptop has stopped complaining.
It therefore prevented a really draining pursuit for a fix.
I note that Microsoft are going to stop support for Windows 10 in October 2025 so that will be my next headache.
Thanks
