iPhone app drains the battery

Hi,

After the recent update of the F-secure app, the power consumption on my iphone has increased substancially.

Yesterday alone the app was taking 95% of the battery.


Something wrong with the new app version?

    We appreciate you coming forward with this problem to us. Such battery consumption is unacceptable. We need to investigate this problem further to determine the reason why our program is consuming so much energy on your device.

    In this regard, we will need some additional data and diagnostic data from our program. I will send you instructions for downloading the diagnostic data in a private message on our forum.

    Please provide us additionally with the following data:

    1. on what iPhone model did the problem occur?

    2. what version of iOS you have?

    3. what exactly version of F-Secure you have installed?

    This information together with diagnostic data will help us get to the root of the problem.

    I have this same issue.

    iPhone 14
    iOS 18.1.1
    F-Secure ver. 24.11.304703

    Suddenly last night it started using 100% my phone's battery and drained it completely during night.

    Same issue for me. 53% drain in the last 24 hrs.

    iPhone 13

    Any update from f-secure please? I’ve tried calling….Tech Support don’t work on a Friday and the main UK switchboard don’t answer?
    Any timescales for a fix as it’s a real problem when away from home and permanent charging?

    Echoing the previous comment… Any news from F-secure?

    The issue is very annoying, and makes me seriously to consider migrating to platform from another provider, as my subsription is coming to an end soon.

    @PawełP Any Updates about this issue?

    Same problem here, iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18.2.1, latest version of the App (I deleted it meanwhile, will reinstall after fixing this problem).
