I am unable to use my computer with f-secure total.

switched on becuase I either get timed out error messgaes or pages only partially loaded. See attached screen print.

I was also unable to login to this forum. I had to switch f-secure of in order to login.

Everything works as it should when f-secure total vpn is switched off.

It looks like the connection drastically slows down with f-secure on. It drops to anywhere between 0.25 and 0.5mbs where as my normal speed is between 11 and 13mbs (I use a mobile wifi).

If you are using F-Secure Total (latest) and chromium based browser you should change the default settings as follows:

When I search for the TLS 1.3 hybridized etc I get a message saying that it's unavailable (not listed)

What browser are you referring to?

IT seems that the previous instruction for lastest version of chromium browsers is no longer quite correct, let's ask the moderators if there is a new one @PawełP @FS_Manu

    eg. Chrome: (F-Secure Total 19.7,Chrome win 11 130.0.6723.92

    chrome://flags/

    Hello @User_5628 @JOnes

It appears that Google has updated the directory structure. However, please refer to this article, which provides specific instructions: FSecure Knowledge

    .

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you, and have a great day.

What about TLS 1.3 post-quantum key agreement should it be Disabled or what ?

As I understand it, the consumer should not have the need to follow Google's index changes normally in order to get the security software working, there should be a more permanent solution for this asap

Agree, I don't have this issue with the other VPN apps I use.

I had the same issue using Firefox after updating to v132.0. The instructions from the link in JOnes original answer solved the problem. (Apparently it only affected a "lucky few" of us FF users.)

I unfortunately wasn't one of those lucky few. The fix did unfortunately nothing (for Firefox) after:

    security.tls.enable_kyber

    false

    and restart.

Any suggestions other than changing VPN-provider? Need a instant fix. I have 8 computers running on F-Secure Total (/VPN). All of them contain vast amounts off security sensitive data —> no VPN —> Can't use any of my windows devices..

Not happy at all here F-Secure. 🤯🥶😕
