Not very long ago, F-Secure's Freedome VPN used to have it's own DNS IP Address.

Today, the F-Secure Freedome VPN is using a CloudFlare DNS server.

QUESTION:

What happen to F-Secure's Freedome VPN's own DNS server?

    Hi @Issues4Life

You, or some application on your Mac, have added those four Quad9 DNS servers there to your DNS settings. Kindly remove them from the DNS settings as well as type "Profiles" to the Mac spotlight (the magnifying glass icon in the menubar or Command+Space) and see, if there are any DNS profiles installed on this Mac.

    Hi @Issues4Life

We can't seem to reproduce this as we tried a few times with different platforms. We're using our own DNS servers and that is what we see also with ipleak.net

Please tell us what device and OS version are you using. Cloudflare offers public free DNS services, please confirm that you haven't changed your DNS settings manually with for example Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 app.

    Jaims ...

I will do what you asked ...

I deliberately added the Quad9 DNS to replace my ISPs DNS ...

Just know that my ISPs DNS server is not even remotely secure ...

Still, I don't understand what this has to do with my original question ...

    See attached ...

    Jaims ...

Here is a video of what I see from ipleak, which is my browser's home page.

Perhaps this information will be helpful ...

    Thank you in advance ...
