Safe browsing

Hi, Having purchased Total and installing it on my iphone12 And iPad Pro, I am regularly being presented with the caption ‘

“Safe browsing is temporary unavailable” Web service that provides site safety information cannot be reached at the moment.

This appears even if I start a new search.

The only way I’ve found to get it back running is to close my iPhone/iPad down and reboot.

I expect there’s a simple solution to the problem but I’m at a loss.

Help appreciated

    This bug has been fixed in our SAFE iOS version 18.5.

    Please check and let us know if you still face the same issue.

    Hi @TL53

    We are aware of this issue and a fix is slated to be released in the course of the year.

    Meanwhile, when facing this issue, please close the SAFE app and restart it.

    You can do this by showing all the open apps by either clicking the Home-button twice or swiping from the bottom of the screen to the middle of the screen. After you have the open apps shown, swipe up on F-Secure SAFE and it will be closed. After this you can start F-Secure SAFE normally and continue browsing.
