Connect two devices to each others in LAN

Normal home-wifi / lan, router, fiber.
Television with Chromecast and FreeDome installed
Samsung phone with streaming TV and FreeDome installed
When VPN is OFF stream can be sent to TV via ChromeCast.
When VPN is ON stream CANNOT be sent TV via ChromeCast.
As the are in their own VPNs they do not "see" each others. How to fix this? Is it possible to get all devices in a home LAN inside the same VPN so they can connect each others? Yes, if VPN is in router, but I think that is not possible with FreeDome?
