Anybody else having problems importing passwords from Firefox ?

All articles i have found says the same: RTFM.

I did and it doesn't work - when I import passwords from Firefox, i get the message: Ugyldigt filformat. As you can see i am Danish, English translation is "Invalide fileformat".

Any ideas ?

    Dear @Per_Vium ,

Thank you very much for your question.

Please note that F-Secure ID PROTECTION supports importing passwords from the following password managers:

    • Dashlane
    • F-Secure ID PROTECTION
    • Google Chrome
    • KeePassX V2
    • LastPass

You can, however, try to export passwords from Firefox to .CSV file and then you should do the following after you have created the .CSV file :

    1. Open F-Secure ID PROTECTION
    2. Click Settings
    3. Click Import Passwords
    4. Select Dashlane (CSV) on the list
    5. Click Select
    6. Import the file from there

Please let me know whether it was helpful.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lucas

This is another RTFM. Tried it, did it (several times), don't work-

i get the "Invalid fileformat" no matter what I do.

I have added a small portion of the CSV file I use. Please change filee-extiontion back to CSV before opening it. And please ask for any documentation you need, I have almost 200 passwords waiting to in imported.

I have 7 licences of ID Protection, but I can not roll it out before this "little" problem has been solved.

    Regards

    Per Vium
