Freedome won't run on M1 Mac running Big Sur. How to fix?

Just bought an M1 Mac and transferred all files etc. Most of the non-Apple software works via Rosetta2. But Freedom refuses to launch. Is there a fix for this yet?

    Hi @jjn1

    Did you perform clean re-installation of F-Secure Freedome?

    If no, please remove the existing F-Secure FREEDOME VPN app from your Mac following these steps:

    1. Go to Applications folder 
    2. Drag the F-Secure FREEDOME VPN app into Trash (located at the end of the Dock)
    3. Delete the F-Secure FREEDOME VPN app from Trash  
    • Download and reinstall F-Secure FREEDOME VPN from the F-Secure Website via this link 

    If you have already performed the steps, please check if there is any software update pending on your mac Machine.
