F-Secure SAFE blocks npm/npx
Recently I've been doing an online course with several parts and posting to Github, and at one point the npm install and npx commands got super slow, with install times of up to several hours.
After uninstalling F-Secure SAFE everything dropped down to normal times of seconds, and even though I tried disabling the firewall it didn't help. Is there a solution where I can have a working npm and SAFE?

I am only an F-Secure user (their home solutions).
Actually, you could try to repeat "trouble" and then to create fsdiag (https://www.f-secure.com/en/home/support/tools or it is also possible to launch from desktop F-Secure SAFE Settings under 'Support' tab). It is possible to use the result during discussion with their official Support agents via support channels. For example, web-chat: https://www.f-secure.com/en/home/support/contact
Then, they could to troubleshoot if there is something clearly wrong.
Another option is to understand whether:
-- there is certain F-Secure SAFE layer that affect speed. Is it DeepGuard or 'Browsing Protection', specific option, ransomware protection or real-time scanning. For example, by disabling them one by one and check situation after each.
Sounds that files/commands/situation were analyzed by scanning / triggering advanced checks and so on. For example, I feel that something around that was with Windows Updates. When somehow F-Secure solution affect speed of installing.
But this should not be the case, actually. You can also try to exclude (temporary) directories where installation supposed to be. And check if speed is normal then.
