Current 2020 F-Secure products that can be updated offline.

I have five F-Secure safe licences.

Have a PC that can be used to connect to the Internet for installing Windows 10 /updating/setting up. After that, it can only be connected to the internet, temporarily, once a month for Windows updates.

Question is, would it be possible to use this PC, connected to the Internet, to install one of my F-Secure safe licences, then disconnect and update definitions manually, daily after that

My concern is that the F-Secure safe would work for a while offline and then stop.

Please can anyone tell me if this would work or not?

Dear @Arpo99 ,

Yes, if we are talking about our two main anti virusses reserved for private customers(F-secure Safe & F-secure Internet Security)

This isn't answering your question, but I would perhaps consider the value of having F-Secure on a machine that has such limited internet access. Would Windows Defender not be enough in this case?

Thanks for both the posts so far. Although the PC has to be standalone, need an fully featured AV with better capabilities that a built-in AV like defender. Just need to know if F-Secure Safe will function and can be manually updated on a machine that's not connected to the Internet.

Unfortunately, both of our anti viruses(SAFE and Internet Security) requires internet connection, to be installed and also to be maintained(Threaths database updates).

Thanks for the answer. So, to be perfectly clear, are you saying that the threats database can no longer be maintained by a manual download of F-Secure AV definition updates?

Exactly, F-secure Safe and F-secure Internet Security can work properly only when there is internet connection.
