Android shell warning

in F-Secure VPN

for a while the F-Secure freedome android app on a phone that does not have updates for android the app has started warning about a malicious app with description name: shell, Application:Android/Generic.3d2680c826!Online

I have installed the F-Secure Mobile Security however nothing is detected when scanning the whole phone.

Would there be a way to pinpoint the application which is been classified as shell?

    May I  know the version of android OS running on your android device? Did you try uninstall and re-install the Freedome app?
