Freedome subscription renewal

My subscription is coming to an end in a few days and I received an email about renewing my subscription. I used to link in the email to renew my subscription and received my new subscription code. How do I extend my subscription on my devices (1 Window + 2 Android)?  Is it only possible to add the new subscription code after the old expires or am I missing something here? I haven't found anything in the UI where I could add the new subscription code..
