TOR Experiences?

Hey guys,

 

A friend of mine is a subscriber to FreedomE and has his own F-Secure account that he pays for and it's not linked to mine.

 

My friend told me he wants to try using TOR for the first time and of course he wants to use F-Secure while he is doing this.

 

My friend is not very computer literate.

 

Before he uses TOR and FreedomE VPN together, I just wanted to ask for things my friend should be aware of before he starts using it?

    What is the OS of the device?

    Why does he want to use them together?

    My friend's OS is Windows 10.

    I heard something about how it's necessary to disable Javascript when using TOR to maximise security?

    Hi Hopeful_Future,

     

    Just a quick update after I checked with our product team: We haven’t tested Freedome together with TOR. So, we don't have an experience on how/if it would work or not.
