Hi
My internetsupplier (tvcablesantapola.es) in Spain has blocked the following ports and I wonder if someone knows that Freedom still works on an IOS unit.

----

The blocked ports on our system are as follows:

 PUERTOS TCP

21 – FTP

22 – SSH

23 – Telnet

25 – SMTP

80 – Web

443 – Web SSL

En conexiones WiFi, adicionalmente el 8080 y el 8443

PUERTOS UDP

123 – NTP

161 – SNMP

5060,5061 – SIP

---

Happy for a quick answer.

/John

    Hi JohnJek,

Please have a look at this article to know more about what ports need to be configured and setup to connect to Freedome in iOS.

    Hi
I had read that articel and that was the reason I posted the question, it states that TCP-443 is used for IOS and my supplier has blocked that port in some way, do not really understand this part of the communication and the anwer I got.

The router is managed by the ISP so I do not have any access to it, can not login to it.

If not anyone has experians about this I think I have to test next time I visit Spain Smiley Happy

    Hi JohnJek,

If ports 80 and 443 are blocked, the user wouldn’t be able to use web at all, as practically all HTTP sites are at port 80 and HTTPS sites are at port 443. It may be possible that the ISP is requiring their users to use ISP’s proxy – if so, normally that is not a problem.
