Renew F-Secure SAFE for 24 months
I've expired my 30 day trial, and now I would like to buy SAFE for 24 months. When I go to buy F-Secure SAFE, I can select a license period of 24 months.
When I proceed with the order and enter my e-mail into order details, I get prompted to login to my existing account.
After doing so, I am forwarded to My F-Secure. When I try to renew my subscription from there, I cannot change the license period. I can only change the number of devices I want to protect.
How can I buy a subscription of 24 months without making a new account?

Hello,
Sorry for my ask.
What will be if you: 'firstly' logging to My F-Secure Account and then choose "order" from portal (?!).
It will be anyway with such stuck?
Maybe required to clear cache/cookies (or to use "InPrivate"-mode or so);
Also maybe there is certain setting and specific for certain location, but I did next check steps:
--> Registered trial account for F-Secure SAFE;
--> I'm logged under My F-Secure Account portal (first time);
I able to choose "Kjøpe nå" (as 'Buy now'-button) or from "Order'n'Payments" - which work as next URL:
https://my.f-secure.com/portal/purchase/initial
--> Such URL with my brief try as under your first screenshot. And looks like that it possible to proceed next with 'save' for setting about two years.
Thanks!

Even if I first log in to My F-Secure, and then start a purchase from F-Secure portal, the order form asks me to log in when I enter my e-mail address.
In My F-Secure landing page, as well as under "Order and Payments", the button says "Renew now" instead of "Buy now", and the URL I am directed is https://my.f-secure.com/portal/prepaid/upgrade/[some_numbers]. However, when I visit https://my.f-secure.com/portal/purchase/initial after logging in, I can actually change the license period.
I made a purchase with 24 months as the license period, and on return to My F-Secure I was informed that my subscription was renewed. I am still baffled why on earth it is not possible to select a 24 month license period when renewing a subscription.

Hello,
Sorry for my reply (I'm also only F-Secure user; their home solutions); Only as unofficial suggestions.
I feel small difference: because when I 'log in to My F-Secure and then start purchase from F-Secure portal' -> the order form already filled with my 'data' and do not ask for re-login (or so). But I did not purchase (after redirect to payment system) - if stuck step happened there.
So, since there some other different points -> maybe your account is connected to certain specific promo/local-setting or something else (with reduced-price or branding/customization; special offers or type of subscription).
I able to get the "Renew"-button too. After using such page:
https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/renew
Where "F-Secure SAFE" with certain URL-parameter (which most likely do the change for "button"-name);
And I re-check additionally (to fresh trial account) with:
--> my 'active' F-Secure Total subscription;
--> my 'expired' F-Secure SAFE account;
With all of this situations (and both buttons like "Renew" or "Buy") -> my URL for button is not changed (not as 'prepaid/upgrade/hash'); And, as result, available to choose two years too (when renewing a subscription).
Anyway -> good that your situation is sorted. And will be nice if such 'steps' do not break any designs!
Thanks!
