Hi i have been using a program on my pc with no problams at all until today

Today it seems f-secure is blocking it and every time i try to run the program f-secure opens a new process for itself but does not open any options like other security programs

I tried dissabling everything but the only way i could get the program in question to open was to uninstall f-secure

Many thanks

    Hello,

    The answer based on platform (Windows or Mac).

    Generally -> F-Secure SAFE (for Windows, as example) with related options: exclusion lists (for manual and real-time scanning; also it partly works for DeepGuard); and kind of 'allow'-action for some of certain prompts/notifications;

    Basically -> possible to re-check Online Documentation:

    https://help.f-secure.com/index.html

    about certain solution/platform and re-check related abilities/steps; Such documentation also should be available under F-Secure SAFE UI (under "?"-picture button);

    For example, this design: https://help.f-secure.com/product.html#home/safe-windows/2017/en/task_13205052E3D44C44BA2491A55A7F818F-safe-windows-2017-en

     i try to run the program f-secure opens a new process for itself but does not open any options like other security programs
    I tried dissabling everything but the only way i could get the program in question to open was to uninstall f-secure

    But this words sounds as potential trouble and maybe required more information or certain Support help;

    Does it possible to explain more? Like... "does F-Secure" create any words, prompts, notification about such event? And... does it indeed "Turn off all security features" (under Main UI -> Tools-tab) do not fix situation?

    Thanks!

    // with other meanings: possible to use F-Secure SAS:

    https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/submit-a-sample#sample-file

    and transfer certain file to F-Secure Labs for re-check/re-analyse/re-rate it (if your file is safe);

    // and forget to add -> that with Mac platform there was trouble about exception lists (available only workarounds and I'm not sure about current state); If your experience about Mac-platform - good to re-ask and there can be certain attention or some advices;
