The latest version of Freedome is not working at all on my computer, so is there an option to download previous version???

When I try to activate the protection, it just says: Error - something went wrong (Virhe - jotakin meni valitettavasti pieleen). Then I can send error report and it generates some .7z package, but nothing helps.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall... etc..

    Hello,

    Sorry for my reply. I'm also only F-Secure user (their home solutions);

    I able to think that most useful and reasonable step is contact direct F-Secure Support Channels (chat/phone):

    https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/contact-support

    It can be helpful for both meanings: investigation about trouble with launch fresh build; and previous installer executable;

    As my own unofficial suggestions:

    --> maybe possible to re-check that "Freedome network adapter" is active/enabled (and with enabled settings about IPv6); Some topics was with option to re-name it (add "2" or "3" to adapter's name);

    --> if your experience about Windows: maybe possible to re-check Windows Event journal (if there is any crash information or so);

    --> maybe under your system still available previous Freedome installers (as under my own system); So it will be possible to use them for 'temporary' workaround (if required); Install Freedome by previous installer-executable; And then deny update dialog (or tweak registry settings for avoid such notification);

    But good to contact direct F-Secure Support Channels; Because -> maybe it can be useful not only for you, but other users too;

    Thanks!

    ... also (additionally to previous reply's meanings)..... possible to re-check some of such topics:

    https://community.f-secure.com/t5/forums/searchpage/tab/message?advanced=false&allow_punctuation=false&filter=location&location=forum-board:freedome&q=%22something%20went%20wrong%22

    as example, some of them contain next knowledgebase article  OR  such topic;

    Maybe some of them contain certain setting as your one.

     // and I not sure that there is available certain option to get previous installers/builds for Freedome (except Support Channel; your own or your friends archive under system; unofficial websites);

    Thanks!

    There really is something wrong with the install, because there is no "Freedome network adapter" at all...

    So, maybe such situation means that this knowledgebase article should be valid:

    https://community.f-secure.com/t5/F-Secure/Freedome-for-Windows-requests/ta-p/77951

    // If your situation is fresh (?!); I able to think that on current days -> Windows push the monthly updates (as potential reasons for such stuck; as it noted under knowledgebase article);

    But because article based on previous troublestuck (maybe F-Secure Support able to provide more actual instructions);

    Hello,

    If noted articles/topics is not helpful -> most likely good to contact direct F-Secure Support Channels (chat/phone):

    Home_global: https://www.f-secure.com/en/web/home_global/contact-support

    or Suomi: https://www.f-secure.com/fi_FI/web/home_fi/contact-support

     (usually it works with hours from page; but also time to time chat is available with random hours);

    Because F-Secure Support with abilities to provide certified help/advices about proper steps (I able to think that such trouble should be with known fix-steps);

    Thanks!

    Yes, I have now done everything in my power to solve this problem, so tomorrow it's time to call for help.

    Windows 10 is fully updated, Norton Internet Security, CCleaner and Spybot has been updated, fully scanned the system and those have been uninstalled. I have tried FsUninstallationTool several times and tried to install the latest Freedom and reinstalled... There is no any messages during install, but the FreedomeVPNConnection" TAP driver didn't appear at all... and the problem stays...

    Not sure -> if there is can be such troubles with uninstalled Norton IS or Spybot (as their 'drivers/hooks' or so - which can be removed only by their certain specific uninstallation/removal tools)... but just as another potential ask:

    --> did you run Freedome installer with Administrators rights (I'm not sure that this is required for installing TapDriver, but will be quite logical; And also... usually Freedome installation can to ask about privileges by UAC-prompt);

    Thanks.

    Hi!

    Yes, I have tried with admin rights and also answered UAC-questions correctly.

    No, I wouldn't ask if there were something I could do by my self, even as an advanced Windows user this seems to be a hard problem to solve...

    I have tried and tried again... I even uninstalled every guardian software and cleaned them with their cleaning softwares (Norton), but still the installation won't install the TAP-driver etc...
