cannot uninstall F Secure , using windows 10

Trying to re install after stopped working on my laptop BUT cannot uninstall the older version. Tried several times and waited for something to happen for over an hour! Help required please.

Sorry for my reply.

 

Do you mean that your current situation with next view:

 

--> You launch "Uninstall" for F-Secure SAFE(?) by common steps (by default steps for uninstalling sofware under Windows);

And this process  with "freeze/stuck" as result?

 

Or uninstallation just did not start?

With any of meanings: you able try to use F-Secure Uninstallation Tool:

But with some of potential stuck-reasons there can be useful to try steps like:

 

--> Uninstall under Windows Safe Mode;

--> OR restart system and trigger uninstallation (before any usage for F-Secure);

 

For situations - if there can be some hooks by another software or so; Or just because if there something broken.

And then to use F-Secure Uninstallation Tool;

The Uninstall Tool is probably your best solution, but bear in mind it will remove ALL of your F-Secure products, so make sure you have any necessary licence keys available, for reinstallation.
