Online scanner does not recognize ULAV as protecting the PC

When I run F-Secure Online scanner at the completition it claims that my PC is not protected.

Look at the system tray: The icons for ULAV and Freedome are there.
Do they not count as protection?

F-Secure Online Scanner also ignore FS Protection (at least some days before; with fresh TP) and maybe also based on 'Ultralight'-design (but previously F-Secure Online Scanner also do not detected beta/tp with my experience - but such my experience outdated - I did not re-check it with recent time).

 

I think that.... just not supposed to detect technology preview/beta of F-Secure SAFE/IS/AV or just because F-Secure Online Scanner do not update their 'knowledge' about list of known security software. Also can be interesting - if it not planned to discontinued (as F-Secure Search) - because Cleanup Tool also goes be dropped as feature from fresh FS Protection builds (if I normally remembed with one TP-build for both 'drop'-actions).

 

Generally - Windows (system) do proper detection about Ultralight (but maybe with hack/tricks?!);

I re-checked it today...

Yes, your words is good! With FS Protection partly another view - there missing additional step-view (prompt under screenshot and as direct words about 'not protected' status for system);

 

Just my dreams about such meanings (for FS Protection) was based on points that there anyway advice/promotion for F-Secure SAFE (how it will be with F-Secure ULAV as result too) - which maybe more properly understand that F-Secure Online Scanner do not recognize FS Protection as F-Secure solution (maybe such view are expected); But with F-Secure ULAV there clear troublemeaning (also it will be for  'Sophos Home Premium Beta' as example).

When I run the Online scanner on a PC with the commercial F-Secure Internet Security I do not get that warning about not being protected.

It's entirely possibly this is because Internet Security is a lot older currently than the beta product FS Protection
