How do i remove onlinemapfinder which is redirecting my chrome browser?

I jsut noticed a few days ago that i have aquired onlinemapfinder in my chrome browser.

I am running windows 10.

I searched for removal tools and every site I look at pops up with the FSecure warning that it may be a bad site.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for my reply.

 

Maybe you able to start from next points:

 

--> Under system (Windows) Control Panel will open "Uninstall/Install Software" and check the list.

If there installed (sort by date, for example) something which is unknown for you. Or just looks suspicious.

And uninstall it;

 

--> Re-check your browser Extensions/Addons/Plugins for ability 'disable/remove' it;

If it possible - so just remove from Browser and re-check some other settings like homepage (or shortcut of browser-picture under desktop);

 

Maybe some of 'malicious' software (as extension under browser; or under file system) will redirect from search results pages (which you choose) to another suspicious/malicious (which blocked by F-Secure);

 

--> If there will be still suspicious activities (or just as additional cleaning) you able to run specific tools/scanners.

I able to think that good run firstly F-Secure Full Scan (Main UI -> Tools -> Scanning Option/FullScan);

And than direct tools by other companies; Usually it can be promoted AdwCleaner by Malwarebytes (they also have tool called as Junkware Removal Tool);

 

Also Google have certain tool for their Google Chrome:
