Vancouver Servers and IMAP with my ISP

I am having problems connecting to my ISP's mail server through Vancouver.  I am using Outlook 2016 and the IMAP protocol.  If I reconnect to the Toronto servers it works again.  This seems to happen at random times.  As far as I know, the ISP's servers are located in either Vancouver or Victoria.  Any ideas?

    You might want to have a look at this article regarding email issues while Freedome is on.

     

    Could you give us more details on the error you observe when the problem occurs?

    It hasn't failed today but the next time it does, I will capture the error message. Regarding the article, that is not the issue because one minute I can connect and the next I can't.
