Virtual location not working?
I'm currently using the 5 day trial of Freedome, which I think is excellent so far. However, I've just one slight problem relating to the virtual location. I'm in the UK and it automatically sets London, which is fine. However, websites seem to think I'm either in Austria (occasionally), or mostly USA. For example if I perform a Google search I get US based websites which wasn't previously the case. If I look at my own website, then check Google Analytics, it thinks I'm in USA.
I'm a real newbie to this kind of software so apologies if in advance the answer is something simple I've missed!

Hi YorkshireRob,
We have an article related to this which can shed more information.
Google services don't rely on standard geolocation data but use their own ways to determine the location. They don’t rely only to where the IP address has been defined to be. For example if they know that a bunch of users accessing their service have all specified their country as Mexico in the Google account settings, they’ll flag our IP to be in Mexico as well. There is really nothing we can do about this. We have had this situation on and off with other locations too.
