F-Secure Freedome Subscription inquiry

Presently I am using F-Secure Freedome on my Windows machine. I am still having 3 months valid subscription. Today  I have purchased new Freedome subscription for 1 year, 3 Devices.

     I want to know that if  I wish to activate the product after three months then whether the delivered KEY will work? In other words can I activate my product later since I am having 3 months left in my current subscription?

The key which I have received will work or it will expire after certain time if I didn't activate the product.

Kindly do needful to solve my query.

Indeed, the key will work even if you activate it after 3 months time.
