Schädliche Webseiten erkennen

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

 

Freedome nennt die Zahl der blockierten schädlichen Webseiten.

Doch ich bekomme keine Meldung, welche Webseiten das sind.

Das möchte ich aber gerne wissen, um diese Webseiten künftig zu meiden oder die Betreiber zu warnen.

Was kann ich tun?

Detect malicious websites
Dear Sir or Madam,

Freedome calls the number of blocked malicious websites.
But I do not get a message, which websites are meant.
I would like to know this, however, to avoid these websites in the future or warn the operators.
What can I do?

Hi Michael,

 

Freedome only shows the number of harmful websites blocked under Browsing Protection (Harmful Sites blocked). However, you will see a notice 'Harmful we sbite blocked' when you try to open any harmful webpage with Freedome on. This means that Freedome has blocked the website.

But Freedome shows the number of harmful websites.

Could you try to do a test in Freedome under 'Harmful Sites blocked' to see if you see the notification pop up or not? Please try the test for Browsing Protection to see what happens when you access a harmful website.

I made the test with Open the AMTSO Phishing Testpage… and saw the warning.

But the warning did not appear on other pages counted as malicious.

I did a check with the Freedome team about this. It is possible that the malicious webpage counter increased although there was no notification displayed in some cases. For example: when a game tries to access an ad/webpage which contains malicious content, it is possible that Freedome blocks the harmful site. But it is not possible to show the notification in the game application and also as it might be fetched from different sources.

 

Since the notification works in the Browsing Protection test, it works but in your case, it might be the scenario as mentioned above.
