F-Secure Safe is making Thunderbird email very slow.

selecting or deleting or browsing the email messages in Thunderbird is very slow because of something in F-Secure SAFE. When F-Secure is closed Thunderbird is not slow. 

Do you update F-Secure with a patch for that? How to avoid slow Thunderbird?

Which platform you are using SAFE/Thunderbird on?

OS X 10.9.5 and I did use Thunderbird 45.7 and 50.

Thank you for the feedback. We are actually currently testing some performance improvements which should also help with slowness when using certain programs, including Thunderbird. Will keep you updated on the progress.
