Vista Windows Mail Junk E-mail Folder

I wondered how the VWindows mail service that comes with Vista affects the "Spam Mail" and "Phishing E-mail" folders that are automtically set up by F-Secure. I don't get anything in the F-Secure folders. I only get spam messages in the Windows Mail Junk E-Mail folder. Apparently it intercepts all email first and filters it before F-Secure has a chance to filter any messages. I don't believe it is possible to disable the Junk E-Mail folder. I have tried all methods available in Windows settings, but the Junk E-mail folder still gets all the spam mail. The only reason I care is that I don't know for sure if the F-Secure spam protection is working. I have no way to test its effectiveness in Vista.

Hi,
F-Secure is only marking the mails as spam in the header. The Filters in the e-mail client are responsible for transferring them to the JUNK folder.
Check a SPAM-Mail's header for entries from F-Secure to see it it works.

What tag does F-Secure add to tne Spam emails? What tag does the F-secure add to the Phishing emails? Are the tags in the subject line?

Are you pertaining to the header in your e-mail content or in your e-mail subject? That makes a lot of difference, right?
What is the "header" in an email message? Is it text at the top of the body where the email message is entered?
Hi,
please refer to the manual page 64:
http://www.f-secure.com/static/doc/home_global/manuals/internet_security_2012/en/manual.pdf
here you find how to set up you email client propperly.
The header is called "X-Spam-Flag"
