Opera Max and Freedome

Has anybody any experience with Freedome and Opeara max?

My understanding is that Opera Max would create a VPN connection and does not do that if Freedome is creating the VPN. The claimed benefit of Opera Max is  saving in transferred data like some 200 megs when playing an one hour recorded video from  Elisa Viihde.

 

Is it either Freedome of Opera Max but not both simultaneously?

I checked on this with the Freedome team. Opera Max is basically a VPN solution. So, Freedome and Opera Max  cannot work together simultaneously. There is an article about this here.

Thanks that and the article answer the questions.

I can habe both installed if I so choose.

If I want to take advantage of the claimed reduced traffic I can use Opera if connection from my location is accepted.

If not then Freedome should get me past the geographical limitations.

If the amount of data transferred is not an issue then also Freedome.
