Malware/Trojan found on Android Samsung SSlibrary - further information/how to disinfect phone?

Hi,

 

I got notification on by Freedome on my Samsung Note 5 (Android 6.0.1) about Infected app (SSlibrary with Trojan: Android/Moavt.4da88a2ab7!Online) but I could not find any further information on this trojan from your web site nor how to deal with this?

Furthermore; F-Secure SAFE doesn't find any virus or malware on the device,

Did you get this notification when you were downloading the application on your Android or did it prompt suddenly? Sometimes, the App Security in Freedome can block harmful apps even before it is downloaded.

Hi,

After contacting support and providing log files - next day or two Freedome gave new notification that SSlibrary is safe to use.

All safe then, thanks. Though it would be nice to hear the cause for the original notification.

It looks like a false positive detection which is fixed now. You can also directly ask the support guys about the reason or any questions you may have regarding your case.
