Explicitly add program to be blocked by DeepGuard
Hi, I am wondering how to explicitly/manually add a program to be blocked by DeepGuard? I have been unable to figure it out and can't rely on DeepGuard to detect the program. Is there anyway to do this?
this is my f-secure version info:
F-Secure 16.3
Antivirus 14.165 build 102
DeepGuard 5.0 build 593
Management Agent 8.30 build 43251
User Interface 18.00 build 589
Virus Protection 11.00 build 22201

I don't believe you can. DeepGuard should block any program it sees as malicious, but if you think it may have missed something, you can report it via the Submit Sample facility. Alternatively, if you just want to block internet access for a particular program, you may be able to do this using a Firewall rule.

Thanks Simon,
I was afraid of that. The Submit Sample function you suggested won't really work for my use case as the program isn't malicious, I just don't want it to be able to access the internet when I run it. I can set up firewall rules, I was just hoping that I could use the DeepGuard functionality to do it better.
Do you know if there is any version of F-Secure that would allow this?
thanks,

I don't think there's any varient of SAFE which does. I don't know anything about this, as it seems to be a new product, but there's a thing called F-Secure Total Privacy and Security. I really can't say if it has the function you want, but you might want to take a look:
