P2P freeze internet.

Hi,  when i got p2p download without freedome i get 10MB/s download speed; when freedome turned on i might get speed at the start up to  4-5MB/s but then it starts to drop and i mean drop to a freeze. Cannot get youtube to load anything, cannot even get to google.com while p2p  (utorrent) is on. When i stop p2p i once again can connect to youtube and google etc.

 

Do i have something wrong with  the Utorrent client, settings or something?

Hi Laksh, yes i've read  the link you gave. I also noticed that it has a list of "Gateways" which are affected by the restriction.

 

I have tried with Espoo and Stockholm gateways and on those i get the "freeze".

 

And please note that the freeze also affects "web (http/https) services"(youtube, google etc.)

Just doing a followup, are you able to access utorrent using the Espoo and Stockholm gateways? Usually, when a block happens on a particular location (which are mentioned in the article), it blocks the connection from the other locations as well temporarily, when you try to connect. The restrictions are automatically lifted after a few hours time.

I managed to trace the problem to Utorrent (3.4.7.), it was quite weird because with freedome turned off uTorrent worked perfectly and once freedome turned on it jammed the whole internet http-traffic aswell(google and youtube didn't work for example).

 

So i thought to try another p2p client(qBittorrent) and it did the trick, everything works as it should be.

 

So my case is solved.
