f secure failed

i paid £25 to renew my subscription for f secure on 9/7/16. i now have a virus on my laptop. (ridiculousfizzing.com . whatever that is?) I looked to see if f secure is actually on my pc. i cannot find it.   pc very bad now. did it through Virgin media. cannot get through to a human when contacting them. can you help me pleae? thank you.

I can't comment on why you have been 'infected', or why you cannot find F-Secure on your machine, but if it is correctly licensed, you should be able to reinstall via your SAFE Portal.  What you have may not actually be a virus, but adware or a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program), either of which http://www.Malwarebytes.org may be able to remove.
