Office security system

My husband is running a business and now he's in need of a security system. what will be the best security system for an office and business space?  I came across this http://www.sleepwellsecurity.ca/blog/security-system/how-to-choose-an-office-security-system/ and thought of selecting remote monitoring system. What are your thoughts about this?? Do you have any better ideas or suggestions. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. Thank you
