Could you please explain as in which cases does the Browsing Protection not work?

 

Since you mentioned that the icon stays in the unfinished state forever, are you referring to the search results ratings? If possible, please provide us a screenshot of the error.

See the first red box, there is the unfinished icon!

 

For reproduce, type the following with a Firefox Browser (x64) in Google Search ...

Since Firefox 64 bit v49 resp. Browsing Protection by F-Secure 2.173.4509, this problem is solved on my Win 10 Pro x64 1607.

This is still the problem in Firefox MAc 49.0.1 in Mac OS !0.10.5
