Can I delete my firewall now that I have Freedome?

Firewall is certainly still needed with Freedome. Freedome protects the network connection from your computer or mobile device, but it is not a replacement for a firewall. Firewall protects your computer from external attacks.

 

Your computer will still be reachable from the Internet with its own IP address – and it must be like this, otherwise your computer wouldn’t be able to communicate to the Internet at all even through Freedome.
