Linux/UNIX software on an IPhone

I have a kernel present on my iPhone called Darwin 15.6 and I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to remove it without a computer. I currently don't have one and I know I haven't synced to one so while I'm not sure the scope of what does it is certainly not secure. Even when I turn off background app refresh. The battery never charges correctly and and even when I'm doing nothing the device gets extremely hot as it's still working and in use any help you guys have on this would be awesome thanks!
