Old Database update

How can I update  Old Database on my iMac? The link http://download.f-secure.com/latest/fsdbupdate9.exe is  not working

    Hello Fiel,

     

    Could you tell us which F-Secure you are currently using? Also is there any known reason why your iMac would have old virus definition?

    Hello,

     

    The .exe file is only for Windows computers.

     

    This file is for off-line updating of F-Secure antivirus on Uni*x-derived operating systems:

    https://download.f-secure.com/latest/fsdbupdate9.run

     

    Whether Mac OS X is Un*x enough to run it, is anybody's guess? Apple computers are expensive, I have never used one, so can't tell myself.

    Hello Ben

    Using F-Secure SAFE on my iMac, iPhone and iPad. According to my iPhone the iMac is protected and OK. But on the iMac i got the message "Databaserna är för gamla"/Old virus definitions.

     

    Has been running ok since 2013
